October 23rd, 1964 - July 18th, 2025
Tracy Vanissa Luckett Ward, 60, of Kingsport went to be with the Lord on Friday, July18, 2025. She was born on October 23, 1964 in Dyersburg, TN to the late Evelyn Simpson and Wallace Luckett. Tracy was an avid outdoorsman and especially enjoyed fishing as well as her pets. She was a Automotive service technician having been the first female to graduate from the Tri-Cities State Tech School with an Automotive Service Technician Certificate.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Ward; stepfather, Paul Simpson; brother, David Luckett. Survivors include her three sons, Dustin Ward (Ashley), Jesse Ward (Heather), and Danny Ward; several grandchildren; brothers, Jay Luckett (Naomi) and Mark Simpson (Tasha); sister, Nathalia Marshall; special friend, Carroll Wallen; along with a host of extended family and friends.
A memorial service will be conducted at 6pm on Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home in Kingsport with Chaplain Bobby Flowers officiating. Those wishing to attend are asked to arrive by 5:50pm.
The family would like to thank Amedysis Hospice and Orchard View Rehabilitation Center for their loving care.
