Carolann Marie Wipf, of West Deptford, NJ, passed away peacefully on July 20, 2025, at the age of 77, surrounded by the love of her family.
Born on December 1, 1947, Carolann lived a vibrant life full of love, laughter, and adventure. She was the beloved wife of Jimmy Wipf and a devoted mother to Jennifer Hart (Steve), Kristie McMullen (Scott), Joseph Wipf, and Erik Godfrey (Wendy). She was also a proud grandmother to Jessica Josack (Robbie), Alex Hart, Madison Hart, Emily McMullen, Sean McMullen, Maggie Dreger, Joshua Wipf, Danny Wipf, Emily Godfrey, and Ryan Godfrey. Her legacy continues through her cherished great-grandchildren, Evan and Rylee. Carolann is also survived by her loving sister Renee Raymond (Jimmy) and her brother Jimmy Byrne (Chris). She was predeceased by her beloved son, James David; her parents, Thomas and Cora Byrne; her brother, Thomas Byrne; and her sister, Helen Dick.
Carolann was truly the life of the party—her energy, laughter, and warmth lit up every room she entered. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and was happiest when surrounded by family. She had an adventurous spirit and a deep love for travel, especially the many cruises she took with her sister Renee. From tropical islands to distant countries, Carolann explored the world with joy and curiosity. She leaves behind a family who will forever cherish her vibrant personality, generous heart, and unwavering love.
Farewell Tribute
A celebration of Carolann’s life will be held on Friday, July 25th with a viewing from 9:00AM to 12:00PM in the McGuinness Funeral Home- (Woodbury Location) 34 Hunter Street, Woodbury, New Jersey. Funeral Service at 12:00PM. Interment New St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bellmawr, New Jersey. In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to honor Carolann by sharing a favorite memory, taking a trip with loved ones, or simply dancing like no one is watching—just as she would have wanted.
