Ronald "Ron" Baker
February 9th, 1961 - July 17th, 2025
Ronald “Ron” Baker, 64, a lifelong resident of Syracuse, passed away on July 17, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones. Ron worked hard throughout his career at Lab Alliance of CNY, Community General, and Upstate, leaving behind many lasting friendships. He loved the outdoors, especially camping, fishing, and riding his motorcycle. Some of his happiest moments were spent with his daughters, listening to music, and sharing laughter. Known for his generosity, humor, and big heart, Ron touched the lives of everyone around him. He will be deeply missed, but forever remembered.
He was predeceased by his parents, Catherine Machan and Leo Baker, and by his brothers, Rick Bentley and David Baker.
Ron is survived by his daughters, Kaylee and Alexis, who were the light of his life, and by his brother, Daniel Baker, along with many friends and family who loved him dearly.
Calling hours will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home 2584 Field Lane, LaFayette, NY 13084. A time of sharing will follow immediatley at 1PM. Burial will follow in Onondaga Valley Cemetery.
