Bruce Jerome Carroll

Bruce Jerome Carroll died unexpectedly in Roper Hospital on July 14th, 2025, in Charleston, SC at the age of 68. Bruce is survived by his wife Gloria Robison Carroll; Stepchildren, Roxanne Williams, Andrea Blakesley, Chance Blakesley, Deseree Blakesley Couch, and son in law Patrick Couch; grandkids and great grandkids Tony Herrera, Francisco Herrera, Liliahna Nesbit, Blaine Williams, Arabella Blakesley, Matthew Couch, Ezekiel Herrera. He is preceded in death by his Father Cecil Carroll and Mother Mary Turner Carroll. Bruce was born on October 3rd, 1956, in Charleston, SC to Cecil and Mary Carroll. He was a school bus driver when he was in high school. After graduating high school, he went on to get his engineering degree and traveled the country for work. He was an eagle Scout as well as a Lifetime Elks member of Lodge 242. His stepchildren remember him as a driven father who encouraged them to pursue their goals. He was a dedicated individual who loved Clemson football and who was passionate about NASCAR. He was an active and dedicated member of the Elks Lodge. Bruce requested no funeral but to remember the good times. The family would like to thank his friends for their love and support throughout his life.
