Jhoy Hartman was born in Manila, Philippines on July 20th, 1976, to Lino and Eugenia Flores.

She moved to the United States in 2010 and became a US citizen in 2015.

Jhoy went home to be with Jesus on July 9th, 2025, at the age of 48.

She is survived by her loving husband, Michael, her son, Aaron Flores, her daughter, Eliza Hartman, her mother, Eugenia, and stepsons Anthony & Jeremy Hartman. She also leaves behind 4 brothers and a sister in the Philippines – Mark, Elmer, Gilbert, and Adrian Flores, and Leah Ramiro – and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Lino.

Jhoy was known for her big heart. She spent her working hours caring for the elderly, first as an employee and then owning her own care home. She had many friends and acquaintances who enjoyed spending time with her.

In her free time, she loved spending time with her family. She loved to travel and visited Europe, Hawaii and numerous other places here in the US, always with her family by her side. Her children were her greatest joy, and she was a loving mother to them. She was also a loving wife and companion to Michael, and she will be truly missed by them all.
