Roger Lee Krebsbach passed away on June 29th, 2025, in Federal Way, Washington. Though he will be missed by friends and family alike, his memory will live on in those who knew and loved him. Roger was born on June 3rd, 1944, to parents Clemens and Florence Krebsbach in Minot, North Dakota. He would grow up in Garrison, North Dakota, and graduate from Garrison High School.
Graduating from Garrison High School in 1962, Roger would go on to join the United States Navy in 1962 and served in Vietnam. On July 31st, 1968, he married the love of his life Marlene Neva Krebsbach (Shay) in McLean, North Dakota. Together in 1969 they moved to Black Diamond, Washington, where they resided for 20 years, before coming to Enumclaw, Washington, where they had lived since 1989.
Many knew him as a generous and kind individual and his family always knew they could go to him for help or advice. Roger spent decades working in grocery, instilling in his sons and family a strong work ethic. With a witty sense of humor, he always managed to bring a smile to your face when you needed it most. Roger was always a big fan of baseball and football, as well as a passionate horse racing enthusiast. When he wanted to treat himself, he loved going to the casino.
Roger is survived by his children Tony and Heather Krebsbach, Michael and Julie Krebsbach, and Heather Perez-Krebsbach. As well as his grandchildren Jared and Becky King, and their daughters Rina and Maggie; Briana Krebsbach and her sons Dakari and Rylan; Josh Krebsbach and Yina Finch; Tyler and Kasara Krebsbach; Paige and Kaley Krebsbach; Haley Krebsbach, husband Kevin Ness and brother Colin Lang. He is preceded in death by his loving wife Marlene Krebsbach; his son Shannon Krebsbach; His parents Clemens and Florence Krebsbach; and his brothers Gary and Jim Krebsbach.
A service will be held in Roger’s honor on July 31st, 2025, starting at 12:30 PM in Tahoma National Cemetery located at 18600 SE 240th ST, Kent, WA 98042.
Roger may have departed from this world, but his kindness, generosity, and love will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. May he rest in peace.
