Kenneth D. McGill, known by many as “Pete,” passed away peacefully at his home in Colorado Springs on July 7, 2025, at the age of 84.
About PeteBorn in Phoenix, Arizona on April 21, 1941, Pete lived a life defined by hard work, quiet generosity, and strong faith. He spent his career as a Roofer and Handyman, running his own small business, Honey-Do-Handyman, where he was the go-to guy for all things home repair. If something was broken, Pete could fix it—and usually with a smile.
He was also enjoyed creating stained glass crosses, which he often gave as meaningful gifts to friends in his church community. His care touched many lives.
Faith & CommunityPete was a devoted member of The Baptist Lighthouse church, where his faith and friendships formed a deep and steady foundation in his life. His quiet service and spiritual strength were a blessing to many.
FamilyPete is survived by his brother, Jim McGill; his daughters, Cristal McGill and Theresa McGill; and his grandchildren, Adisson McGill-Telmosse’ and Oliver Wood-Button. He leaves behind a legacy of hard work, and faith.
Celebration of LifeA memorial service will be held at The Baptist Lighthouse in Colorado Springs (date and time to be announced). All who knew Pete are welcome to attend and share memories.
