Roy Irvin Hawkins
July 10th, 1935 - June 8th, 2023
Roy Irvin Hawkins Roy I Hawkins, 87, of Greeley, CO, formerly of Pierce, CO passed away on Thursday, June 8th, at North Colorado Medical Center surrounded by his family. Roy was born on July 10th, 1935, to his parents Irvine and Elva Hawkins. He married his high school sweetheart, Ruth Winick, on September 11th, 1955, in Fort Collins, CO. This coming anniversary, they would have been married 68 years. Roy is survived by his wife, Ruth Hawkins; sons, Rod (Diana) Hawkins, Wayne (Michelle) Hawkins; grandchildren, Jered Hawkins, Audra (Erik) Tweedy, Matt (Audrey) Hawkins, and Landon (Courtney) Hawkins; great grandchildren, Ethan Hawkins, Miley Hawkins, Mckenna Tweedy, Blake Hawkins, and Makayla Hawkins; brother, Virgil (Marla) Hawkins; sisters-in-law, Beverly (Wray) Lewis, Shirley Hawkins. Roy is preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Orville Hawkins. Contributions can be made to the First Baptist Church of Eaton, Colorado. A Celebration of Life Service will be held, June 27th, 2023, at 10:00am located at First Baptist Church of Eaton.
