March 18th, 1938 - July 19th, 2025
Glenn D. Mac Donald, 87, passed away peacefully in his sleep Saturday, July 19, 2025, in Mesa AZ. Mick was a 1956 graduate of Deer River MN. As an avid sportsman, “Mac” explored living in Minnesota, Nevada, Washington, Oregon, California, and Arizona.
He was preceded in death by his parents D and N MacDonald and love, Evelyn Edgel-Carney. He is survived by his sister Nancy Madsen, her children and grandchildren.
Daughters: Tamara Del Sonno (Mike), Julie Carothers (Kyle)
Stepchildren: Mary Carney. Ed Carney.
Grandchildren: Danelle Hagen (Luke Radford), Kirsten Avent (Brian), Michael Hagen (Tanaya Emery) and Tyler Hartman (Lizzy) Great-Grandchildren: Colin (Eva), Lliam, Caitlyn, and Declan Avent, Cooper and Finley Radford, Evie, Violet, and Jasper Hagen, and Jewell and Johnny Hartman.
“Mac” has many friends in the Deer River MN area and will be sorely missed. The family is planning a graveside burial service in Deer River, MN for mid-September.
