"The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want"

Barbara Ann Humphrey Lipscomb was born on June 15, 1941, to Doug and Helen Humphrey in Mesa, Az. She was the oldest of four children. On Nov. 28, 1958, she married Ed Lipscomb. They were married just short of 57 years when Ed passed away. With the exception of a few years in San Bernardino and England while Ed was in the Air Force, she spent her entire life in the Mesa area. Ed and Barbara were blessed with four biological children, two grandchildren that they raised from infancy, four adopted children and over ten foster children. While she did work briefly outside the home, her full time, and favorite job, was being a mother.

Barbara is proceeded in death by her parents, Doug and Helen, her brother, Sonny, her beloved and cherished sister-in-law, Mariana, her brother Rick and sister Sharon, and her husband, Ed. She is survived by her children; Allen (RaeAnne), Paul (LaVeta), Jeff (Jennifer), Patti (Mark), Josh, Brian, Aurora, Chris, Brooke, and Ryan (Kaylynn), 20 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren plus two more on the way, and one great-great grandchild due in September, as well as many nieces and nephews and friends.
