Irving "Jim" J. Partridge
October 21st, 1926 - July 22nd, 2025
Jim Partridge, 98, of Pompey, passed away on Tuesday, July 22nd, peacefully and surrounded by love with family at his side. He grew up in Pompey on Berwyn Rd. on the family farm where the family farmed until 1962. He was a member of UAW and worked at New Process Gear in Dewitt for 29 years. He was well known in the community. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also loved cutting and splitting wood. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.He is survived by his children Jeanne Smith (Dave) Hugelmeier, Charles (Kathy) Partridge, Patricia (Dwight Peavey) Partridge, Sherry Hutchins, Kenneth (Michellene) Partridge, Tamela (Jayson) Nelson, Susan Tiby, Kathleen (Michael) Schnupp, David (Mary) Partridge, Donald Partridge, Edward (Mia) Partridge22 grandchildren , 6 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.He was predeceased by his wife Muriel and two children James and Joanie.Calling hours will be Tuesday July 29 from 4 pm -7 pm at Ballweg and Lunsford Funeral Home, LaFayette. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 30 at 10 am , at Fabius Christian Church. Burial will follow at Pompey Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends and family at the their home following. In lieu of flowers , consider contributions to Fabius Pompey Outreach.
