Louis was a loving father, son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend to many.  He was born in Dade City, Florida on December 16, 1960 along with his twin sister Lasharn (Shawn).

He graduated from Land O' Lakes High School in 1979.  Shortly thereafter, he joined the United States Marine Corps on August 1, 1979 through May 1992.  He proudly served during the Panama Conflict and the Gulf War.  Louis loved being a Marine and loved his country. "Semper Fi".

While serving state side at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina he was one of the many who contracted cancer through the drinking water.  He never complained and bravely fought this horrible disease.  Sadly on July 20, 2025, he lost his battle to cancer and God called him to rest.

He leaves behind to mourn two children, Patrick and Sadee of Oregon; mother, Ola Mae McClendon; sisters, Lasharn (Shawn) and Dianne; brothers, Michael (Mike), Ernest (Ernie), Richard (Rick) and John.  He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

We would like to thank his special friends, Gilbert Estien (fishing buddy), who was there through the end, Serenity Lotus Lane (Oregon) and a very special thank you to long time family friend Malinda (Linda) Varney who never left his side. Thank you cousins, Josie and Marco Hernandez for being there through the end.

Our family truly thanks everyone for their kind words, love, prayers and donations. Louis is finally free, victory is his.
