Katherine Virginia Walker Dennison, beloved wife, mother, and friend, passed away peacefully on Saturday July 19th, leaving a legacy of love, strength, and kindness. She was born on July 7, 1949, and grew up in the small town of Glenns Ferry, Idaho, where she developed her deep appreciation for family, community, and the simple joys of ranch life.Katherine is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Chris Dennison, who remained her caring partner through every season of life. She is also affectionately remembered by her children: her son, Christopher Freeman; her daughter, Carolyn Nicole Henson; and her stepchildren, Chris Dennison Jr., David Dennison, and Melissa Martin — all of whom were touched by her unwavering support and generous heart.Katherine had a kindred spirit and a strength fostered from generations of Walker tradition. She nurtured those around her with compassion, humor, and wisdom. Katherine’s life was guided by love — for her family, for her faith, and for the people and moments that brought her joy. Her memory will live on in the countless lives she touched, and in the stories, traditions, and laughter she leaves behind.A celebration of life will be held by her family at the Rost Funeral Home in Mountain Home, ID on Saturday July 26th at 10am. She will forever be in our hearts.

Jerry’s career began more than fifty years ago in Boise, and along the way, he acquired an 1897 horse-drawn funeral carriage, which we proudly display in our facility....
