Yvonne Lathrop Johnson, a dedicated educator and passionate healthcare professional, passed away peacefully on July 19, 2025, at Pathways of Northern Colorado. Born in San Diego, California, on October 7, 1964, to Phillip and Shirla Lathrop, Yvonne found her calling in serving others.
She began her career as an elementary school teacher, soon specializing in teaching children with special needs—a testament to her compassionate nature. Yvonne later transitioned into healthcare, a field where her true passion flourished. For 30 years, she served as a Training Manager for esteemed organizations including St. Joseph Health, Centra Health, and Intermountain Health, making a significant impact on countless lives.
Yvonne is survived by her mother, Shirla, her sister, Leah, her beloved children, Jimmy and Yvette, and her cherished granddaughter, Yari. The family will hold a private memorial to celebrate her life.
