It is with heavy hearts, that we announce the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother, Donna Gayle Kilgore Graham, 79, on Saturday, July 26th, 2025, at home, with her family by her side.

Donna was born to James and Florence Kilgore on January 3rd, 1946, in Huntington, W.Va. She was a graduate of Huntington High School, Class of 1963, and worked as a legal assistant at Klein, Slagle, and Klein in Ironton, Ohio from 1975 to 1985, when she moved to North Carolina, where she met the love of her life, Robert Lee Graham. They were married July 3, 1986. She was employed at Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice in Winston-Salem, NC, as a legal assistant from 1985, until her retirement in 2008. Donna loved to dance, and listen to music, play games, and spend time with her family. She was a lover of animals, and devoted to her pets.

She is preceded in death by her husband Robert, parents James and Florence, sisters Sue and JoAnn, brother Mitch, grandson J.W., and great-granddaughter Hannah.

She is survived by her daughters Carrie Henderson (James) and Leah Underwood (Bobby) both of Walnut Cove, grandsons John Henderson (Megan) of King, Joey Henderson of Walnut Cove, and Joshua Underwood (Brittany) of Belews Creek. Great- grandchildren Cheyenne, Hayden, Cara, Sophia, Claire, and Emily.

She made broken look beautiful and strong look invincible. She walked with beauty and grace and dignity, with the universe on her shoulders, and made it look like a pair of wings. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her honor to Trellis Supportive Care of NC.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Donna at the family home, on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at 12:00 pm. 5820 Shadewood Drive, Belews Creek, NC
