Lloyd Allen Ward
February 27th, 1957 - August 31st, 2023
Lloyd Allen Ward died August 31st, 2023 surrounded by family in his home in Evans CO. He was born to Roy Edward Ward and Elva Armelda Haight in Alva OK on February 27th, 1957. He was 66 years old. Lloyd was a jack of all trades and worked jobs such as trimming trees, fixing, painting and detailing cars before he became a bartender, when he met his wife, Lucia. Lloyd soon went into construction to support his growing family, where he found his calling. He loved classic cars, classic rock music, watching basketball, and collecting basketball cards. But more than anything, he loved his family, and he made sure we felt his genuine and devout love. Lloyd always had a warm and welcoming nature about him, and a good sense of right and wrong. He selflessly helped others whenever he could, however he could. He consoled the inconsolable, comforted the uncomfortable, welcomed the ostracized, and befriended the outcasts. He was always a joy to be around, and those who knew and loved him will forever be trying to fill the void he occupied in our hearts. We will miss him immensely. Lloyd was preceded in death by: his parents; his siblings Donald Ward and Juanita Hall; and his sons Roy Allen Ward and Larry Harris. He is survived by: his wife Lucia Gonzales; his siblings Charlie E Ward, Cheryl A Weeks, Bernie M Eby, Bonnie L Kunkel, Robert L Ward, and Danny A Ward; his son Max Adam Gonzales; his daughter Roxann (Harris) Forehand and her children Galen and Cloe Ward; his daughter Rochell Bramble and her children Salem, Bethany, Sariah and Raziel Bramble, and Cecelia Pepper; and his sons-in-law Jayson Bramble and J Michael Forehand.
