Wes is a native Californian, born in Yuba City, CA, on September 7, 1956, who passed away on July 16, 2025.

 

He is survived by his wife, of 43 years, Darlene; son, Jason and daughter-in-law, Kim; daughter, Jennifer; grandchildren, Drakon, Kalianne, Tristan, and Railyn; father, Elmer; brothers, Ed and Tom; sister, Christine; and many extended loving family and friends.

Wes was preceded in death by his mother, Nadene; and nephew, Kyle.

Wes was a strong supporter to his children and grandchildren's sports and activities. Many remember sports talents and as an excellent pitcher on many local baseball teams. He loved sports and a dedicated fan to his favorite teams, the 49'ers and the Giants.

Wes loved the outdoors and outdoorsman recreations like hunting and fishing. He enjoyed sharing his love of the outdoors with his family and friends. He passed his passion to his children and grandchildren and many special memories were made.

Services are Saturday, August 2, 2025, at 10 AM, at the Sutter Cemetery, Sutter, CA. Reception luncheon following services will be held at the Senior Center Facility, 777 Ainsley Ave., Yuba City, CA. Side dishes are welcomed.
