Larry Vinsonhaler
August 25th, 1936 - July 20th, 2025
Larry Vinsonhaler, age 88, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and uncle, passed away very peacefully at home on July 20, 2025. He was lovingly known as “Papa” to all the special children in his life. He was a hard worker, and his hobbies included gardening, fishing and sports. He especially enjoyed playing tennis in his younger years and then swimming.
Larry was born in Caldwell, Idaho, on August 25, 1936, to Russell and Marie Vinsonhaler; he graduated from the University of Pacific in 1959 and spent his career with the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, retiring in 1992.
Larry had a special connection with every dog he has ever had in his life and leaves behind one very sad pup. He loved his family dearly and took very good care of them. We all miss him so very much.

Accent Funeral Home
A local landmark in Meridian, Accent Funeral Home has been serving the community since 1986. The business was first established with a vision to offer services in a comfortable, homelike atmosphere. This vision is reflected in our building, a Tudor-style home built in 1938 for a local postman. When remodeling the house to accommodate the funeral home, much care was taken to preserve the original architectural integrity of the building. The Accent Funeral Home holds a special relationship with the Meridian community and is sensitive to the area’s changing needs, providing service and friendship to comfort those we serve....
