Jackie Don Keene, JD, a devoted husband, loving dad and Poppy, a proud Marine, brother, uncle, father-in-law and a true friend to many, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on July 14, 2025, at 1:11 a.m. (angel time) at the age of 71.

Born in Wichita Falls, TX, Jackie lived a life rooted in service, love, and deep connection with those around him. He served honorably in the United States Marine Corps, a chapter of his life that shaped his enduring discipline, resilience, and unwavering commitment to helping others. Jackie carried the spirit of the Marines with him every day—tough when he needed to be, but always with a heart open to serve and protect those he loved and cared for.

Jackie’s 40-year career in dealership parts management brought him from Florida to Colorado, then Utah, and back to Colorado making this his final career destination. He was a top performer in parts management and an award-winner and member of the Toyota Sales Society. Jackie met and worked with many sport legends and made great memories with the people he worked with, in and out of the dealership.

Jackie was the beloved husband of Debi with whom he shared a lifetime of laughter, partnership, and unconditional love. Their bond was visible to all who knew them—a team built on love, mutual respect, a deep friendship, and years of shared adventures. Jackie was also a devoted dad to his son, Brian, whose life he proudly watched unfold with the same integrity and strength he exemplified. To his daughter-in-law Sarah, he often held the role of her Colorado dad.

To his three beautiful granddaughters Olivia, Penny and Azalea, Jackie was far more than “Poppy”—he was their hero, their biggest cheerleader, and the warm, larger-than-life presence that lit up every room and backyard gathering. His stories, laughter, and playful spirit will echo through their lives for generations to come.

Jackie cherished his siblings and lifelong friends like family. He had a rare ability to make people feel seen and valued, always offering a helping hand, a word of encouragement, or simply a good story at just the right time. His desire to help others was not just a trait—it was his way of life. Whether through quiet acts of kindness or moments of loud, unforgettable laughter, Jackie made people feel better just by being nearby. He could calm a storm with his words and make you feel like the most important person in the world with just a smile.

Jackie Keene leaves behind a legacy of love, loyalty, and laughter. He lived a full life, gave his all to the people he cared about, and never stopped showing up for those who needed him. While his physical presence is no longer with us, the light he brought into the world will continue to shine through the lives he touched.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered, by so many.

Semper Fi, Jackie. We’ll carry your spirit with us always.

A 20-minute service with military honors will take place at Fort Logan National Cemetery on Friday September 26, 2025, at 11:30am. The service will take place at committal shelter B. Please find the map to the cemetery in the mementos section.
