In Loving Memory
Amber Lynn Jennings lovingly known as our little angel of Salinas, Ca passed away peacefully on July 21st, 2025 at the age of 32 years old. Amber was born on May 23rd, 1993 bringing light and joy to all those who had the privilege of knowing her. Born with cerebral palsy, Amber faced many challenges throughout her life. She was unable to walk or talk and required constant care. Yet despite these limitations Amber had a gift that touched everyone around her; a radiant unforgettable smile that spoke louder than words ever could. Her smile welcomed each new day and provided comfort and joy to her loved ones. Amber was a beautiful soul who delighted in life's simple pleasures. She especially loved visits to the aquarium where she would gaze in wonder at all the colorful fish, her eyes lighting up every movement in the water. These moments brought her peace and happiness and those who accompanied her cherished seeing the world reflected through Amber’s eyes. Amber also really loved the television show “Friends.” She never wanted to be bothered if she was in the middle of watching an episode. Though Amber required care for every need, she will be remembered for giving more than she received. Her pure spirit, enduring joy, and ability to instantly warm any room with her presence continued to inspire all who knew her; despite her hardships. Amber leaves behind those whose lives she deeply touched and who will forever carry her memory in their hearts. Amber’s gentle light will be missed but never forgotten.
A visitation for Amber will be Wednesday, July 30th from 1pm-5pm with a Rosary Prayer Service at 3pm at Healey Mortuary Chapel. Her Funeral Mass will be Thursday, July 31st at 10am at Our Lady of Refuge Catholic Church in Castroville followed by burial at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Prunedale.

We Entrusted Amber Jennings's Care To
Healey Mortuary
At Healey, we treat our Salinas Valley community members like family. Our story begins after World War II when Veteran Herbert C. Healey hoped to find a way to continue to meaningfully help his county and community grow. He and his wife founded Salinas Valley Mortuary in 1956 to help serve the families in the Salinas Valley area. Their lifelong mission was to unselfishly serve area families based on their strong, trusting relationship with their community – something we honor to this day almost seven decades years later....
