Mary Jeaneen Bowers, 63, of Columbia, passed away on Tuesday, July 29, 2025. She was born on January 25, 1962, in Columbia, SC, to the late William aka “Bill” and Marileen Marchant Bowers.

 

Jeaneen was diagnosed with a rare form of Muscular Dystrophy as a young child but never let it interfere with her quality of life and lived every moment of the day to the fullest. She was a die-hard NASCAR fan of Jeff Gordon and loved her Clemson Tigers.

 

Jeaneen loved her friends and family and most of all, her Lord and Savior. She loved unconditionally and it was reciprocated by all.

 

Jeaneen is survived by her brother, Billy Bowers; her sisters, Karen Browy (Scott) and Michelle Dyer (George); nephews, Austin Bowers, Aiden Bowers and Christopher Browy (Dana); niece, Brittany Youngblood (Lee); great nephews, Rucker Browy, Huck Browy and Wade Youngblood; great nieces, Ryleigh Youngblood, Navy Youngblood and Indigo Youngblood and many cousins.

 

The family will receive friends at Thompson Funeral Home, 4720 Augusta Road, Lexington, SC 29073 on Saturday, August 2, 2025, From 1PM – 2PM. Funeral services will follow at 2PM and Interment will be at Celestial Memorial Gardens.
