Virginia Asbury passed away July 18, 2025 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. Virginia remained in her home until her son Michael’s death, 2025. Virginia then went to spend the remaining days at her daughter Sandra and husband Herb’s home. Virginia was able to share her time with those who loved her immensely and will miss her immensely.

Virginia was born on February 1, 1939 to Virgil and Ella Mae Neville. Virginia was born at home in Loveland, CO, which is north of the Devil’s Backbone.

Virginia attended Loveland High School. Virginia and Leslie Asbury married in Rifle, CO in 1955.

Virginia was one of six siblings; Vernon, Harvey, Carolyn, Bill, Roberta, Clayton. Virginia has three grandchildren and five Great grandchildren, along with her nieces, great nieces, nephews, and great nephews.

Virginia had lived in Loveland, CO; Arizona; Gilman, CO; and Fort Collins, CO. She was the caregiver for the family when needed. Virginia, being the kind person she was, would welcome co-workers who would be alone for Thanksgiving to the family dinner.

Virginia and her husband Les (Leslie) built a beautiful home outside of Lafayette, CO, where their four children; Steve, Greg, Michael and Sandra finished their High School days. Virginia’s home was filled with homecooked meals, life lessons and unconditional love.

Virginia and Les sold their home in Lafayette, CO, in 1998. They moved to Loveland to be closer to Virginia’s aging parents. Virginia and Les enjoyed the beautiful views of the foothills and Horsetooth Reservoir from their new home.
