Evelyn Loretta Andrews

In loving memory of Evelyn Loretta Andrews, it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Evelyn Loretta Andrews, who departed this life on Saturday, July 26th surrounded by her loved ones, she was ninety-two.  

Evelyn was born and raised in Youngstown, Ohio, and she graduated from Chaney High School in 1950. She became a homemaker and eventually began a career in the secretarial field. She met and married Michael D Andrews on January 5, 1979; together they raised, nurtured, and loved their blended family of nine. In 1980 they moved their blended family to Albuquerque, New Mexico. There she worked for BDM Corporation as an Executive Secretary until her retirement.  

Evelyn was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and friend, known for kindness, strength, sense of humor, she truly served as the matriarch and the glue that held the family together. She never missed sending birthday, anniversary, or Christmas cards to all she loved and cared for. She loved her family, playing bingo, shopping, cooking, baking, traveling with husband and family, and reading her bible. She was well known for her Christmas cookie boxes which she gave out during the holiday season. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.  

Evelyn is survived by her husband, Michael D Andrews, her children James Stanovcak, Joe (Sandee) Stanovcak, Lorraine (Terry) Green, Christine (Russ) Cowart, Justine Andrews, Michael (Lillian) Andrews, Richard (Gloria) Andrews, James (Susan) Andrews and daughter in-law Patty Stanovcak. Additionally, she left behind thirteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren, along with many nieces. nephews, and cousins.  

In addition to her parents Joseph and Mary Hensperger, she is preceded in death by son Eddie Stanovcak, her siblings Mary, Betty, Nannie, Madgie, Joseph, and her beloved daughter in-law Debbie Stanovca.  

Services will be held at Risen Savior Catholic Church located at 7701 Wyoming Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109 on August 13th at 10am.  

She will be resting at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.  

All family and friends and acquaintances are welcome to attend and celebrate her life
