Three Rivers- Annette J. Coyer, 61 was called safely home on July 31, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 31, 1964, in Randolph, VT, the oldest of five children. Annette attended schools in Ludlow and Palmer, graduating from Palmer High School, where she was known for her athleticism and her passion for softball—a sport she continued to enjoy for several years after her school days.

Annette was predeceased by her father, Fred V. Smith Jr. She is survived by her loving husband of 28 years, Leo Paul Coyer, with whom she shared countless country western adventures; and three children: Nicole Parker and her husband Mike, Daniel Coyer, and Justin Coyer. She also leaves behind her beloved mother, Susan (Therrien) Smith; her siblings: sister Julie Sullivan and husband Mike, brother Fred Smith III and Shelley, sister Michelle Biron and Joe, and sister Debra Wrobel and husband Mark; grandchildren: Jessica, Olivia, Rhea, and Jazlyn; as well as her nephews and nieces Nicholas and Jacob, Samantha, Fred IV and Megan, and Damien and Susan, and special cousins who have been there all along, Sherrie and Alyssa.

For 30 years, she worked as the director of operations at Superior Caulking and Water Proofing. Her dedication was not limited to her career; Annette also dedicated countless hours volunteering at AMVETS and St. Stans, embodying a spirit of selflessness and community service that inspired those around her. Annette was also known for her unforgettable smile and kind heart. A true equestrian at heart, she loved spending her time on the family farm with the animals and had a special devotion to her horses, Hannah and Maverick and her dogs. Her passion for horseback riding enriched her life, bringing her joy and peace. When she wasn’t at the farm you could find her at her second favorite place, on the golf course.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 7, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by words of remembrance at 12:00 PM at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home.
