Ima Martin
January 15th, 1932 - June 23rd, 2025
With heavy hearts we are sad to announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt. Ima Qua Houston Martin. Ima had passed away on June 23,2025 of heart failure. Ima was the daughter of Lonnie and Alta Houston and sister to Duane Houston, Ada Murdock and Barbara Horn. Ima was the mother of Jeff Martin, Steve Martin, Susan Elrod and Doug Martin. Ima also, had 4 grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren living in California and Japan as well as 3 daughters in laws and 1 son in law. Ima was proceeded in death by her late husband Milton in 2021 as well as brother Duane and sister Barbara Horn. Ima was born January 15,1932 and was married for 70 years to Milton. During Ima and Milton’s retirement years they traveled quite a bit, they built their dream home in Madera California. Ima and Milton were active in the Church of Christ. Ima spent countless hours in her garden daily which gave her so much joy. Ima enjoyed her family very much and will be missed dearly.
