**Obituary for Robert Francis Richardson** Robert Francis Richardson, a beloved father, grandfather, and devoted friend, peacefully departed this life on August 3, 2025, in Auburndale, Florida, at the age of 66. Born on August 26, 1958, in Brooklyn, New York, Robert exemplified a life filled with love, compassion, and adventure. He was a proud graduate of Pace University, where he earned his Master’s Degree in Finance. Robert had a remarkable career as a top-earning mortgage broker, dedicating many years of his life as the Vice President and Co-Owner of a branch of Lend America in Queens, New York. His professional journey was marked by his exceptional skills and commitment to helping others achieve their dreams of homeownership. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Robert was a man of wonderful character. He was known for his kindness, humor, and considerate nature. He took on the role of protector within his family, always ensuring that those he loved felt safe and cherished. One of his greatest joys was spending time with his grandchildren: Jared, Savanna, Braylen, Evelynn, Gannon, and Eliana, who adored their “Papa.” Together, they created countless memories that will forever remain etched in their hearts. Robert’s interests were as diverse as his personality. He had a passion for music and loved attending concerts. He was an avid sports fan, especially of the New York Yankees and the New York Giants. His enthusiasm for the great outdoors found him golfing, camping, and fishing whenever possible. Additionally, he cherished watching his favorite classic films, including “It’s a Wonderful Life,” “Field of Dreams,” and “The Wizard of Oz.” He leaves behind daughters Danielle DiGiantomasso and Dominique Wood, son-in-laws Mitchell DiGiantomasso and Jared S. Wood, as well as a loving mother, three sisters, multiple nieces, and nephews. Robert’s life will be honored with a Memorial Mass Service on his birthday, August 26, 2025, at 11:30 AM in the Church at St. Louis of Montefort R.C. Church, located at 75 New York Avenue, Sound Beach, NY 11789. Following the service, a Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at 19 Sylvester Road, Wading River, NY 11792, to share stories and memories of the remarkable man he was. Robert Francis Richardson will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire those he left behind.
