Chad Michael Korn

Chad Michael Korn passed away unexpectedly on June 28, 2025 at the age of 43, surrounded by his loving family.

He passed away after a valiant battle with complications of a severe infection. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, nephew and friend. He precedes his parents Michael and Claudia Korn, and younger brother, Andrew Korn. Chad was a very kind-hearted and endearing person. 

He was born in Denver on September 23, 1981. As a child, he loved all things super hero and has an impressive action figures collection. He was always building with Legos and enjoyed performing magic tricks. He liked the martial arts and would practice for hours with a large stick, perfecting his moves. As he grew, so did his love for music.

He was a talented keyboard and drum player. In high school, he participated in the St. Patrick's Day parade in Ireland with the Horizon Marching Band.

He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching the Colorado Avalanche and Denver Broncos games with family and friends. He enjoyed gaming and an occasional trip up to Central City.  He loved bowling, playing pool, board and card games, going to the movies, spending time with his family, and having fun with his niece and nephew.

He endeared us with his warm and wonderful decorating style in his apartment, and even decorating his car with decals and strips.

There was always a handmade crafted decoration on his front door for each holiday. He grew up in Lakewood and later in Broomfield.

As an adult, he had many different jobs, ranging from merchandiser with Pepsi to cashiering at Fortune Valley Casino. He will be dearly missed.
