Pedro Gutierrez, 21, of Gaston, South Carolina, passed away on July 22, 2025. He was born on March 19, 2004, in Tifton, Georgia, to Sotero and Nina (Munoz) Gutierrez.

Pedro loved riding his four-wheeler through the back roads and trails, always chasing adventures and laughter. He found comfort in riding his horse Chapo, where he could feel the breeze on his face as they galloped beneath the open sky. One of his favorite ways to stay in contact with friends and family was FaceTime, where his warm smile and playful spirit lit up the conversation.

Pedro is survived by his loving parents, Sotero and Nina Gutierrez, his siblings Victoria Gutierrez, Stephanie Gutierrez, Jordan Gutierrez, and Brenda Martinez; his maternal grandparents, Pedro Sr and Maria Gutierrez; Connie Simpson and Rogelio Munoz, his god parents Osvaldo Alvarado Sr. and Rosie Lagunas as well as numerous grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will forever cherish his memory.

The family will receive friends at Thompson Funeral Home on August 8, 2025, from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be at the Our Lady of the Hills Church, 120 Marydale Lane Columbia 29210,  on August 9, 2025 at 1pm , followed by burial at the home of Sotero and Nina Gutierrez.
