Anthony Milewski, Jr.

Anthony Milewski Jr., 81, of Amsterdam, New York, passed away peacefully July 31st, 2025, surrounded by those who loved him.

 Born and raised in Amsterdam, he was the beloved son of the late Anthony Milewski Sr. and the late Philomena Milewski. Anthony was a devoted brother to Phyllis Milewski and a loving father to his four children: Margaret, Anthony III (Heather), the late Michael (Molly), and Toni Marie Austin. He was also the proud grandfather of Joshua, Jonathan, Jennifer, Sarah, Jordan, Nathan, Lucas, Nathaniel, Samuel, Faith, and Gabriel, as well as 3 great Grandchildren.

 Anthony served honorably in the National Guard, demonstrating his dedication to his country and community. That same sense of duty and drive followed him throughout his life.

 A natural-born salesman, Anthony built his life around hard work, relationships, and a passion for preserving history. He was the proud owner of Phoenix at Time, a beloved antique shop located in Amsterdam, this shop was not only a reflection of his entrepreneurial spirit, but a place where he connected with others through shared stories and timeless treasures. He was incredibly proud of this accomplishment.

 Anthony also loved fishing, storytelling, and spending meaningful time with family and friends. He had a sharp mind, a generous heart, and a personality that made people feel welcome and seen. Everything he did had purpose—and while business was always part of his nature, family always came first.

 Though his physical presence is gone, his strength, wisdom, and the love he gave will live on in the many lives he touched.
