Memorial

Marilyn passed away on May 18, 2025. A lifelong resident of Meridian first, in the town and later the family farm near the Tisdale Weir.

Marilyn attended local schools and grew up marrying the love of her life Russell Young. Even after being told repeatedly by her mother to "Stay away from those Young boys." (glad you didn't listen, Mom).

Marilyn and Russell embarked on 64 years of sheer wedded bliss and supported each other in their many local, state and national organizations, including Meridian Farm Women, Nile, Shriners Hospital and Farm Bureau.

She is survived by daughters, Pamela (Steve) Rabedew and Jennifer Young; granddaughters Nicole (Mike) Perry, Joslyn (Mike) Lawrence and Michelle Welch; great grandchildren, Collin and Austin Lawrence and Patience and Stella Welch.

Marilyn is preceded in death by her husband, Russell; Sons, Russell lll and Troy (Susan); great grandson, Tucker; and brother, Richard Doty.

Private services to be held at a later date.

Donations may be made to Shriner's Hospital or Yuba-Sutter Farm Bureau.
