Bok Hee Kim, 77, a devoted mother and pillar of her church, passed away on August 4, 2025. Born on October 12, 1947, in South Korea, Bok Hee’s life was a symphony of love, both for hymns, and for her family. Boke Hee’s unwavering faith guided her life and her approach to motherhood.
As a mother of three sons and grandmother of six, Bok Hee instilled her strong values and religious beliefs in her family. Bok Hee’s home was a haven of prayer and support for her children and provided them with guidance and comfort. Bok Hee’s love for hymns extended beyond her family. She loved to praise God in front of others in need of guidance and comfort.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, In Kyu Kim, their children Won, Yong, and Chol, and their families. A celebration of Bok Hee's life and faith will be held on August 8, 2025, from 10:30am to 1:30pm at Loyless Funeral Homes in Land O' Lakes, Fl. In honor of Bok Hee's love for hymns, the service will include a performance by a choir, of which Bok Hee was a member, of her favorite songs.
