Lynne Daughenbaugh
June 19th, 1950 - July 26th, 2025
Lynne Daughenbaugh, 75, of Longmont, Colorado, passed away on July 26, 2025. Born in Sterling, Colorado, on June 19, 1950, she lived a life marked by love for her family and the outdoors.
Lynne graduated from Boulder High School in 1968. She enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in 1969 and rose to the rank of Staff Sargent before being honorably discharged in 1977. During her service, she met her former husband, Kenneth Daughenbaugh. Together, they had two children, Jenny and Troy.
Throughout her career, Lynne worked for the Boulder Valley School District, The Economics Institute, and later at Walmart. She brought a strong work ethic and warm spirit to every role she held.
Outside of work, Lynne found joy in nature. She loved camping, motorcycling, and spending time in the mountains with her family. Her deep connection to Colorado’s outdoors was a constant in her life. She enjoyed celebrating holidays and birthdays, spending hours looking for the perfect gift or decoration.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Micky Zigler, and her son, Troy Daughenbaugh. She is survived by her daughter, Jenny Crehore (Daughenbaugh), grandson, Conner Daughenbaugh and many friends and extended family members who will miss her.
Lynne's life will be remembered for her resilience, her sense of adventure, and the love she shared with those around her.
