Teresa "Tina" Kay Bower

Teresa “Tina” Kay Bower, a beloved mother, sister, and friend, passed away at home on July 26, 2025, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was 66 years old.

Tina proudly served her country as a veteran of the United States Navy, retiring after years of honorable service. Following her military career, she found great success and fulfillment as a Real Estate Broker, specializing in estate sales and closures. 

Beyond her career, Tina was an avid gardener who found joy and peace working with plants. She was also deeply committed to helping others, volunteering with multiple non-profit organizations throughout her life. Her generous spirit and giving heart touched many in her community.

 A woman of Christian faith, Tina was a longtime member of Freedom Baptist Church, where her memory was honored during a service held on August 6, 2025.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jim Burke. Tina is survived by her loving mother, Betty Burke; her devoted son, Derek Bower, and his wife, Jessica Bower; and her cherished grandson, John. She is also survived by her siblings: brothers Matt Burke, Brad Burke, and Terry Burke, and sisters Connie Armit and Elizabeth Rydell.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to God’s Pantry Ministries at 30 Widefield Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO, or to Freedom Baptist Church at 312 Auburn Drive, Colorado Springs, CO.

Tina’s life was a testament to service, love, and resilience. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
