Frances Cohorn Lyons
September 7th, 1933 - August 5th, 2025
Frances Cohorn Lyons, 91, widow of the late Raymond Lyons, passed away Tuesday, August 5, 2025. She was born in Georgetown, Kentucky on September 7, 1933 to the late Mary Wise and Bennie Cohorn. Mrs. Lyons was a certified nursing aide for the University of Kentucky Markey Cancer Center and was a member of Lake Street Church of Christ in Nicholasville, Kentucky. She loved spending quality time with her family, and some of her interests are traveling, quilting and sewing.
Those left to cherish her memory includes her sons, Benny (Jo Ann Sutton) Lyons, David (Vicky) Lyons; grandchildren, Emi Lyons, Heath Lyons, Erin Lyons and Jessica Lyons; and several great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and her parents, Mrs. Lyons is preceded in death by her grandson, Raymond Brent Lyons; sisters, Clara Riddle and Helen Barber; brothers, Carl Cohorn and Ewell Cohorn.
A funeral service will be held, Tuesday, August 12, 2025 at 7pm, Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing officiated by Pastor Kyle Blevins, with visitation starting and 5pm until the time of the service.
