Linda Lou Rea
December 7th, 1947 - July 29th, 2025
Linda Rea, beloved mother, grandmother, wife, and friend, went to be with the Lord on July 29th, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. She was 77 years old.
Born on December 7, 1947, in Denver, Colorado, Linda was the youngest of five children born to Jack and Clara Carson. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters Mary and Jackie, and her brother Gene.
Linda spent most of her life in Denver but also lived in Tucson, Arizona, and Gallup, New Mexico. In 1970, she married Harold Rea. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and lasting memories over 55 years.
Linda dedicated her professional life to banking, working her way up to become a respected bank manager. Her strong work ethic and sense of humor left a lasting impact on her colleagues.
She is survived by her husband Harold, her two sons Jack and Wayne, three cherished grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Linda found her greatest joy in her family, and she adored every moment spent with them.
Known for her ornery sense of humor, fun-loving spirit, and love of teasing, Linda brought joy to those around her. She had a deep love for the mountains, fishing trips, cats, chocolate, and classic John Wayne movies. She was also a dedicated football fan and never missed a chance to watch her favorite Fox News programs. Linda had great faith in the Lord, which guided and strengthened her throughout her life.
Linda will be remembered most for her generous heart, her kind and caring nature, and her unwavering love for her family and friends. Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched and the memories she leaves behind.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
