The immediate family watched as the sunset on Howard Wm Gordon II 73, on July 31, 2025 at Crouse Hospital in Syracuse, NY. Born March 11, 1952 in Rochester, NY. He was blessed with two loving parents, Willie Mae Walker-Gordon and Garrett Gordon.
He is survived by his domestic partner, Eva Evans; two sons, Jumaane and Ramahn Gordon; a sister, Ashawntay Reed, brother-in-law, Joe Reed; four nieces, Ta’Kara Gaines, Jayla Reed and Yasenia Reed-Daniel; one great niece, Mai Reed; nephews, Joseph (Mariah) Reed Jr. and Ta’Jair Gaines; one brother, Calvin Gordon.
A Homegoing service will be held at Greater Evangelical Church of God in Christ. 4325 S. Salina St., Syracuse, NY 13205 on August 11, 2025.
Viewing will be held 10-11:30AM. Service will begin at 11:30AM.
Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, 940 Comstock Ave., Syracuse, NY.
Due to warm weather, dress casually.
