Donald Dwain Lister
February 11th, 1935 - August 4th, 2025
Donald D. Lister passed away on August 4, 2025, surrounded by his family, at the age of 90.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Fay Lister, his children Sandra Rice (Jeff) of Springfield, OR, Barry Lister (Jil) of Anthem, AZ, Scott Lister (Jennifer) of Peoria, AZ, Kim Sellars (Norma) of Post Falls, ID, 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Don was born in Harrison, Arkansas in 1935 and graduated from Lowell High School, Lowell, Oregon in 1953. He spent many years working in the lumber industry. He was the most selfless, caring, loving husband, father and friend, and we have certainly lost a good man.
Don loved spending time with family and friends, enjoyed photography, hunting, and fishing, but what he loved most was golf.
A funeral mass will be held on August 20th at 11:00 am followed by a reception, at St. Paul Catholic Church, 1201 Satre Street, Eugene, OR.
