Gerald Lee Robertson
April 2nd, 1951 - August 7th, 2025
Gerald L. Robertson, 74, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 7, 2025 at his home in Ladson, SC. He was born in Louisville, KY to Francis and Gladys (Sowders) Robertson. He is survived by his two daughters, Holly Kendrick and Rosanna Anderson.
Jerry, as he was affectionately known, loved running, often citing Forrest Gump as his inspiration. He looked forward to the Turkey Trot and Gobble Wobble every year and completed the Cooper River Bridge Run for over forty years. He also completed numerous marathons and half-marathons. He'd proudly wear each t-shirt and medal he earned.
Jerry was a hard, dedicated HVAC technician until retiring in 2021 after 42 years. Jerry lived life with love and kindness toward everyone he met. He enjoyed the simple pleasures -- good rock n' roll music, a walk with the dogs, a cold beer and hot wings, breakfast at Waffle House, and finding forgotten treasures along his route.
