In Loving Memory of Sharin Ann Little (1962-2025) Sharin Ann Little passed away in her home on July 10, 2025.  She was 62 years old.  Sharin was born to Madelyn and Carl Little Jr. on July 28, 1962 in Portland, Oregon.  She attended Beaumont Grade School and went on to attend Reynolds High School where she graduated in 1980. She started playing soccer at an early age under Coach Joe Balla, who was very influential in her life. She was an outstanding soccer player, earning all-league honors.  Soccer was the love of her life, which she continued playing for years after high school. She played on an all women's team that traveled to Europe to compete.

Sharin enlisted in the U.S. Army and served at Walter Reed Hospital in Washington D.C. caring for Army personnel, including veterans. This experience motivated her to become a nurse.  After serving in the military, Sharin returned to Portland and graduated from nursing school.  Over her nursing career she worked at Providence and the Veterans Hospital in the Portland area.

All through her life, Sharin was a very giving, caring, and generous person.  She always went out of her way to help others in need.  She loved taking care of animals, going to concerts, watching sporting events, and sunbathing at beaches.  Sharin lived life to the fullest, was such a bright light, and had such a great sense of humor!  She was a strong, resilient woman.  She will be remembered for her loving heart and always thinking of others.  She will be dearly missed.

Sharin is survived by her brother, Carl Little III, sister, Karin Nissly, brothers, Richard and Tom Little, and two nieces Kimberly Graber and Kristi May (and their children), and several cousins. Sharin was preceded in death by her parents, father Carl Little Jr. and mother Madelyn (Jelkren) Little.

A Celebration of Life will be held to honor Sharin on Sunday, September 7th from noon - 3pm at Blue Lake Regional Park (Clatsop Picnic Shelter B) in Fairview, Oregon located at 20500 NE             Marine Drive.
