Monty Dean Bishop, age 67 of Kingsport, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, August 8, 2025. Monty was born on January 15, 1958, in Adrian, MI to Enoch and Ruby Bishop.
Monty was preceded in death by his parents. Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Ashley Chapman; two brothers, Randy Bishop and wife, Della, and Austin Bishop; sister, Loretta Snead; and many loving family members and friends.
A private family graveside service will be held at Old Kingsport Cemetery, where Monty will be laid to rest next to his mother.
Carter-Trent Funeral Home Kingsport is serving the Bishop family.
