Angela Marie Binion

It is with heavy hearts we announce that Angela Marie Binion (Long) passed on August 1, 2025, in Rochester, Washington. Her legacy of love and laughter will live on in the memories of her family, friends, and community.

Born on April 15, 1972, in Olympia, Washington, to her two parents Jackson Long and Sharon Long. She grew up in Veneta, Oregon attending Elmira high school graduating in the class of 1990. On May 1st, 1995, she would get married in Reno, Nevada, to the love of her life Travis Binion. She would then move to Olympia, Washington, and even spend 10 months in Yakima, Washington, before settling in Rochester, Washington for 22 years. While in Rochester she worked in the banking sector, originally a dedicated employee of Columbia Bank for 20 years before then becoming an assistant manager at O Bee Credit Union from 2020-2023. She also became a proud member of Lacey’s South Sound Chamber of Commerce.

She always had a positive outlook even during hard times and knew just what to say to liven up a room. So, it was natural that her favorite place in the whole world would be Disneyland. The only place that could match Angela’s joy and magic for life and she made so many lasting memories with family there. To relax, Angela loved painting and enjoyed showing her creative side off to friends. Angela also gave back to her community by volunteering, she was especially dedicated to Relay for Life.

Angela is survived by her loving spouse Travis Binion; her son Jacob Binion; her daughter and son-in-law Allie Lynd and Andrew Lynd; her brother and sister-in-law Luke Long and Shelly Long; and her aunt Shiela Koochagian. She is preceded in death by her parents Jackson Long and Sharon Long; as well as her uncle Richard Koochagian.

Angela brought so much joy and laughter to the lives of all who knew her, she will be dearly missed.
