Anita Jean Ginther
November 10th, 1956 - August 23rd, 2012
Anita Jean Ginther had a soft landing when she was sent to Heaven on August 23, 2012. She was born on November 10, 1956 to Harry and Ruth Eckhardt and spent her entire life in the Greeley area. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul’s Congregational Church. It was there that she married the love of her life, Randy Ginther on September 10, 1977. Anita attended school in Greeley, graduating from Greeley Central High School in 1974. Early in her working career Anita worked for Hesco Manufacturing. She then started working at State Farm Insurance Company on September 12, 1979 and found an extensive work family who all loved her dearly. Anita enjoyed taking walks, watching reality TV shows, motorcycle riding – not driving, and mostly a love of beaches and palm trees. Anita is survived by her husband Randy; daughter, Katie (Evan) Overturf; son, Brandon (Brittany) Ginther; parents, Ruth and Manuel Lovato; brother-in-law, Dean (Wendy) Ginther; sister-in-law, Bev Meis, sister-in-law, Kay (Gary) Hunter; several nieces and nephews; and dear friends, Jeanie Samms and Carol Lehr. She was preceded in death by her father, Harry Eckhardt; mother-in-law, Grace Ginther; and brother-in-law, Donald Ginther. Friends may visit Monday, August 27, 2012 from 5-8 p.m. at Adamson Chapel. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Adamson Chapel. Interment will be at Evans Cemetery.
