John Thomas Howland
July 10th, 1937 - September 15th, 2013
John Thomas "Tom” Howland, 76, of Johnstown, Colorado passed away Sunday, September 15, 2013 at Longmont United Hospital in Longmont, Colorado. Tom was born July 10, 1937 in Wichita, Kansas to Charles Harold and Jessie Esther (Wright) Howland. He had a lifelong interest in hunting, fishing and prospecting. Tom loved the mountains, his Creator and his family. He always put his family first and enjoyed helping people. Tom is survived by a daughter, Margaret Welch of Montrose, Colorado; three sons; a step daughter; brother, Sam Howland and wife Janet of Johnstown, Colorado; sister-in-law, Ruby Howland; grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. He also has a great granddaughter, Darby. He was preceded in death by his wife, Deborah Howland, his parents; s son, John Thomas Howland, Jr.; a sister, Delores Howland; and a brother, Chuck Howland. No services are scheduled at this time.
