Phillip Michael Benson

Phillip Michael Benson was a great husband, father, son, brother, and friend. On the evening of September 29, 2014 he went home to be with the Lord. Phillip was born on July 4, 1987, to Mike Benson and Charlotte Duncan in Pueblo, Colorado. He worked for Xtreme Drilling as a derrick hand for five years and enjoyed working on cars, leather crafts, and being with family. Survivors are his wife, Sharlene Benson; three daughters, Emma, Chloe, and Montana; parents, Mike Benson and Charlotte Duncan; siblings, Shannon Thorne, Ryon McLucas, Eilene McLucas, Jeffery Benson, and Audra Jeppsen; grandparents, Ellen(Polly) Benson, Irene and Buck Woods; and a large loving extended family. He was preceded in death by his great grandmother, Vereta King Benson; grandfather, Loren Benson; and cousin, Joshua Benson. A celebration of Phillip’s life will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 4, 2014 at Celebration Pointe Church, 4100 West 20th Street in Greeley, Colorado with interment in Estes Valley Memorial Gardens in Estes Park, Colorado.
