Judith Iris Ewegen

Judith Iris Willson Ewegen, 75, of Eaton, Colorado passed away on October 11, 2014 at Bonell Good Samaritan Society in Greeley, Colorado. She was born on December 29, 1938 to Charles "Pink” and Marjorie (Holloway) Willson in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Judith graduated from Greeley Central High School and went on to study art and drama at the University of Northern Colorado. On May 4, 1963 she married Lester Ewegen in Greeley. Judith was a member of the Rocky Mountain Embroiderers' Guild and taught both stitching and beading classes. She enjoyed playing golf with her family as well as the Eaton Women's Golf Association, and playing cards with her weekly bridge group. Judith gave back to her community through her efforts for premie babies and battered women. She is survived by her husband, Lester Ewegen of Eaton; son, Mathew Ewegen of Eaton; daughter, Jennifer Ewegen of Loveland, Colorado; and her grandson, Willson Ewegen of Loveland. She was preceded in death by her parents. There will be a celebration of her life at Eaton Country Club on Friday, October 17th at 2 pm.
