Kreston Chad Babcock
September 30th, 1976 - December 25th, 2014
Kreston Chad Babcock, 38, of Evans, CO left us unexpectedly on December 25, 2014. He was born on September 30, 1976 to Ken and Judi (Wagers) Babcock in Greeley, CO. Kreston attended Greeley Central High School, and at the age of 19 moved to Tucson, AZ where he trained to be an auto body technician. After working in Tucson for 10 years, he returned to Greeley to work. Kreston took great pride in his work and believed in doing the job right the first time. He also painted custom designs on motorcycles and cars. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed camping, boating, snowboarding and riding his motorcycle in the mountains. Kreston will be remembered by his family and friends as an energetic, generous, and kindhearted person who brought laughter and joy to all who knew him. He lived life to the fullest, believing that "Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming, Wow! What a Ride”! Kreston is survived by his father, Ken Babcock of Greeley; mother, Judi Parziale and husband, Jeff, of Tucson, AZ; brother, Wes Babcock and wife Tanara and their children Kye and Trace of Calvert City, KY; sister, Jenna Babcock of Tucson; grandmother, Joyce Clem of Loveland, CO; a loving extended family and many friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John Wagers, and Bill and Betty Babcock. Services will include, public visitation Tuesday, December 30, 2014 from 5-7 p.m. at Adamson Chapel, 2000 47th Avenue in Greeley; and a service to celebrate Kreston’s life on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. also at Adamson Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to "St. Jude Children's Research Hospital" in care of Adamson Funeral Home. Condolences may be sent to his family at adamsonchapels.com .
