Charles C. "Charlie" Bickell
March 28th, 1935 - April 8th, 2015
Charlie Bickell, 80, of Greeley, CO passed away on April 8, 2015 in Greeley. He was born March 28, 1935 in Topeka, KS to E.V. and Leona (Basel) Bickell and grew up in Greeley. He served in the U.S. Army from 1953-1956. Charlie married Joan Weigand in February 1964. He was a meat cutter by trade for 38 years. He loved the great outdoors—"God’s Temple”, especially camping, fishing and gardening. Charlie is survived by his wife, Joan; daughter, Lori (Rich) Sarchet; grandchildren, Robb, Ben and Rose Sarchet; brothers, Frank (Margaret Ann), Jack (Karen) and Larry (Sandi) Bickell; sisters, Velma Wilt and Erma Bain; numerous nieces and nephews and many special friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; and three sisters. Memorial and reception will be held at the home of Larry and Sandi Bickell on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at 11 a.m., at 310 49th Avenue. Memorial gifts can be made to charities of your choice.
