Kenneth "Ken" Lee Weimer
September 10th, 1954 - June 25th, 2015
Kenneth "Ken” Lee Weimer, 60, of Greeley, CO passed away on June 25, 2015 at North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley. He was born September 10, 1954 in Fort Morgan, CO to Robert and Jean (Nichols) Weimer. Ken grew up in Kersey, CO and graduated from Platte Valley High School. In 1974 in Greeley he married Karen Svoboda. Ken farmed all his adult life in the Kersey and Greeley areas. He loved his children and grandchild dearly. He also liked to tell a good joke and make people laugh. He is survived by his wife, Karen of Greeley; daughters, Candace (Brett) Goldstein of Loveland, CO, Carrie (Ray) Miller of Colorado Springs, CO; son, Chris Weimer of Denver; granddaughter, Jade Miller; siblings, Kathy Weimer of California, Vicky (Dennis) Klein of Kersey, Rod (Rhonda) Weimer of Eaton, Lanette Weimer-Wardlaw of Greeley, Bobby Weimer of Greeley; his mother Jean (Ken) Davis of Greeley; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Weimer; and sister, Julie Bauer. A celebration of Ken’s life will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 11, 2015 at Adamson Chapel, 2000 47th Avenue, Greeley, CO 80634. Condolences may be sent to the family at adamsonchapels.com
