Rosalie Van Herwaarden

Rosalie Van Herwaarden 47, of Greeley, CO passed away July 23, 2015 while vacationing with family at Lake Powell. She was born July 4, 1968 in Thornton, CO to Co and Odete (Harms) Van Herwaarden. She graduated from Greeley Central High School and the University of CU Boulder with an engineering degree. She also graduated from NADA Dealership Academy in Washington DC. Rosalie was active in all positions as owner/partner of Cos BMW Center, Mini of Loveland and Limon Chrysler Dodge Jeep. She enjoyed photography, scrapping, volunteering as a board of director of Dayspring Academy, also enjoyed volleyball, basketball and football and was the team photographer; she was a leader of mission teams for high school groups. She lived for two things, God and her two daughters whom she raised to be very responsible young women. She would not miss a function in school productions or concerts and at the ball games she was either yelling or taking pictures on the side line no matter how far away the games were. She worked along with her father and sister tirelessly in the dealerships and excelled in anything she attempted. All she wanted to do was to take care of others and not have people worried about her. Rosalie was a devoted mother to her two daughters Jordan and Kaylie Angus. She was a loving daughter to Co and Odete Van Herwaarden, a caring sister to Christina (Kenton) Dawkins and a doting Aunt to Aundrea, Christopher and Mason Dawkins. Funeral Service 11:00 a.m. Thursday July 30, 2015 at Cornerstone Community Church 1321 9th Avenue. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
