Juan "Chato" Trevino Jr. July 9, 1943 - May 3, 2008 Age: 64 Residence: LaSalle, CO Tribute: Juan Trevino was born in Asherton, TX to Juan R. Sr. and Manuela (Orsonia) Trevino. He grew up in Texas and then eventually moved to Colorado. Mr. Trevino owned and operated with his brothers, Trevino Trucking, out of La Salle. He enjoyed boxing and drag races. When Mr. Trevino was younger, he and his brothers tried out for professional wrestling, but decided to pursue trucking instead. Mr. Trevino also enjoyed spending time with his friends, family and his dog Charlie. Mr. Trevino died Saturday, May 3, 2008 at North Colorado Medical Center, hospice unit. Survivors: children, Valentine Trevino of Greeley, David Trevino of Greeley, Arthur Trevino of La Salle, Tammy Purcella-Garza of Greeley, Beatrice Trevino of Thorton, Irma Trevino of Thorton, Carmen Trevino of Thorton, and Julie Sanchez of Greeley; brothers, Cruz Trevino and wife Yolanda Trevino of La Salle, Dale "Karate" Maldonado and wife Martha of Greeley; sisters, Katie Salazar and husband Larry of Greeley, and Beatrice Trevino of La Salle; numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Preceeded in death by: parents; and a daughter Rose Marie Trevino. Visitation: 5:00 -6:00 p.m. Wednesday May 7, 2008 at Adamson West Chapel. Rosary: Recitation of the Rosary will be 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church.
